Young Professionals Network
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) supports the growth and development of early career individuals committed to working with underserved and/or underrepresented people and communities. YPN connects these early career individuals with more seasoned professionals who are committed to providing mentorship and consultation on at least a monthly basis. In addition to the monthly individual consultation meetings, YPN also provides periodic training and continuing education opportunities for early career professionals and their mentors with a focus on increasing capacity to provide services to historically marginalized groups. We also host quarterly meetings for all YPN participants to foster professional development and networking. We’re starting our second year of the YPN and are excited to announce that we are looking for professionals with at least 6 years postgraduate experience to serve as mentors. We are also looking for our next group of young professional mentees with less than 5 years postgraduate experience or those still in graduate school programs related to mental health and/or social services. If you are interested in participating as either a professional mentor or as a young professional, please send your resume to Amanda Seanior, LCPC. Please submit your materials no later than October 31, 2020. The next cohort is scheduled to launch in January 2021. ![]()
